1 pound fresh white crab meat
8 ounces cream cheese
1/4 cup fresh, chopped parsley
2 1/4 ounce package slivered almonds, toasted
2 tablespoons chopped onions or scallions
2 tablespoons milk
1/2 tablespoon horseradish
1/2 teaspoon salt
Lemon juice to taste
Pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine all ingredients; mix well. Place in a 1-quart baking dish; bake 20 minutes.
This savory dish may be frozen or prepared a day ahead and refrigerated until time to bake. Garnish the dish with parsley, and serve with crackers or melba toast. - contributed by Liddy R, Doylestown, PA
